The Low-Energy Survival Guide

In a 24/7 role, a low-energy day is more than just a productivity slump, it’s a thief that steals your time. Here is how I manage the natural ebb and flow of energy we all experience:
1. Seek Connection, Not Just Completion When you feel drained, step away from the computer. Spend two minutes talking to a resident about their life. A moment of real human connection can provide a bigger energy boost than a third cup of coffee.
2. Optimize Your Organization Whether it’s a classic planner or a bullet journal, find a system that gives you the satisfaction of the "cross-off." What worked for you last year might not work now. Experiment ruthlessly.
3. Choose Your Battle On days when your tank is low, try one of two paths:
The Momentum Builder: Clear the small, easy tasks first to gain "cross-off" satisfaction.
The Giant Killer: Tackle the one task you're dreading. Once the "scary" thing is done, everything else feels like a breeze.
Don't let a low-energy day drain your night, too. If you’re feeling stuck, let’s chat! We’re just a video chat away to help you find you're own flow!
